This is not exactly new to the internet nor has it failed to be forwarded from friend to friend on the email... now its also on this blog.. lol... this blog seems to be rather slow.. will be taking over when i have the internet at home!! muahahahaha....

You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night. You pass by a bus stop, and you see three people waiting for the bus:

1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.

2. An old friend who once saved your life.

3. The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.


Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only be one passenger in your car. Think before you continue reading.

This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application.


You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus you should save her first; or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect
chance to pay him back.

However, you may never be able to find your perfect dream lover again.

The candidate who was hired (out of 2000 applicants) had no trouble coming up with an answer.










WHAT DID HE SAY?
He simply answered: "I would give the car keys to my old friend, and let him take the lady to the hospital. And I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the woman of my dreams."

checking the oracle installer download.... the file is officially at 9% downloaded and its been downloading for almost 2hrs now.. amazing... hahaha... personally i am going crazy and a little desperate... dsap is going crazy and no one seems to know how to get it done properly. so hoping that a miracle happens and an email with the answers come in. but the download isn't helping at all... haiz... another late nite i would think.. worst off i've not had the time to actually sit down and complete my own pc formats... lol... been 1wk plus since it crashed...

on the lighter note... semester is almost over... true al.. el.. dia.. umm u know who u are.. stupid nick.. hahaha... did you guys notice that it just flew pass.... dwa... didn't learn a single thing and he thought the whole semester with 4 power point slides and 1 tutorial. if he is tat good i can't wait to sit for his exams... then dsap... freaking 12-14 slides.... but still have not learnt anything.... aoom.. now tis is something i benefited and learnt something from... will i ever use it... prob not... maybe for dwa second sem ya... ummm... dccn... now this class... up till the new lect... it was boring and practically everyday for the lect was that time of the month.. comes in... talk on and on super fast.... and wat i've learnt nothing.... more like a repeat of cni...

Live the Moment

Wutup ppl.. been ages.. actually seems like lifetimes, since i last wrote here... anyways... its bout 6AM Monday morning as i write this.. i havent slept at all.. was up all nite, trying to do some work... but my PC has just way too many distractions...

basically,i spent the nite freaking out about my FYP... no idea wut's to be done, n how to do it... i feel like a mental blockout since December or so... i have bout 35 days left, but i havent done peanuts yet... oh well... i guess there's a challenge for me: complete my research and design in a month.. impossible.. i know.... tell me bout it... anyone has any networking or network programmin resources, please lemme know asap.. ur help will be much appreciated...

btw, tomorrow (actually, its 6AM, so its technically 'today') the new intake starts... all our previous classmates return.. ahh wut i wudnt giv to be at their stage rite now.. no worries... just worried bout gettin a title... n oh yeah, ive heard theyre only gonna have 3 days of classes... mann that stinks for us... wish we had that.. more time at home then...

OOOk, that's my alarm... its now exactly 6 in the morning.. i gotta get up from my slumber n get changed for coll... c y'all in coll guys...

n the diablo guy (sorry cant remember ur full nick...), i know ur rite bout the whole career thing mann... who knows where we're all gonna end up even a year from now, let alone 10 yrs... marriage?? hehe, im not even thinkin along those lines yet... no idea when, thou... let's just take it as it comes along... for now, i say 'Live the Moment'... whaddayasay ppl???

Time?

A continuation of Andrew's post. Do u guys realize just how fast time will fly by? Already the first sem is almost done. Hols will definitely fly by. Then another sem and that's it. We will out there in the working world looking for jobs. I hope it's true that the IT industry looks highly upon APIIT graduates. For my part, I can't wait to start work and earn a salary as that would give me my independence. However there are a lot of things that I'm gonna miss, most notably friends. I am definitely not looking forward to breaking bonds when the time comes to leave APIIT. Some of us will never see each other again. The next time we see each other will probably be on our wedding days. 3 years is APIIT has passed by like a flash. All of us will be moving into the next chapter of our lives. We're getting old man...

the end is near

the end of the semester as we know it is almost over and i've not posted a single new biach on the blog... thinking of changing the name from downtown kl to uptown apiit... wat u think?? the worst is over with AOOM out of the way.. now one more.... DWA... DREAD DREAD.... how how how?? who has a senior's documentation that could help me... oh did anyone go to disney on ice recently.. it rocked! worth the RM180 (two ppl) i paid to watch it... best yet went on my birthday.. hahaha... a lot more to go on about... Eh...why nobody blogging....don't make this blog dead ya ppl? By the ways, anyone planning on hitting Zoukfest next Saturday? First world hotel has a pretty good package. RM208 for a 2 single bed room, makan for 2 and 2 passes to the fest. Also a bunch of other stuff but mostly useless. Anyone goin?

Why la....why God, must I be besotted with this $%^#$% cough. Coughs and flus, I tell you, are the scourge of the universe. If Sauron had wanted to rule middle-earth, he should have just spread a flu bug. Screw the Nazgul and the 9. The worst part is, a cough takes the longest to get better. At least a week. AARRGHHH.
APIIT is having some sort of bazzar goin on. Theres laptops(not bad), thumb drives(ok), USB flash drive/watch(koooool), and one stall selling handbags and Petronas shirts(?). I believe tomorrow there's gonna be stalls selling fresh fish, chicken, vegetables etc.
